The Fabulous Turkish Delights are Sydney's most successful and popular belly dance artists. Individually talented with skills such as sword balancing, stick, veil work, and zill (finger cymbal) playing, the Delights are also renowned for their audience entertainment skills and their wacky sense of humour!

Leonie Sükan, Principal of the Newtown Middle Eastern Dance Centre and Director of the Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival, is also the Artistic Director of the Delights. Leonie began the troupe nearly twenty years ago, and since then many of Sydney's best dancers have been, and continue to be, members of the Turkish Delights.

Members of The Fabulous Turkish Delights perform regularly at Sydney restaurants and nightclubs such as Rowda Ya Habibi (Lebanese - Newtown), Pashas (Turkish - Newtown), Erciyes (Turkish - Surry Hills) and Figos (Greek - Parramatta) and many others. Television appearances include the 2007 Helpmann Awards (Bio), Sydney Weekender (7), the Kerry Anne Kennerly Show (9), Changing Rooms (9), Girl TV (7), V and Lifestyle (Fox).
